Replaced some lamp sockets, door is fully lit and multiball light is working now as well. Some sockets will need solder reflowed.

Open Problem: Some lamps do not work after being replaced with new 555 bulbs (multiball arrow, 5 million targets)

Routine: Clean the playfield

Added spring washer and replaced coil sleeve on left flipper. That took care of the sticking.

Closed Problem: Left flipper sticking again Worked for quite a while after cleaning, but perhaps there is more to the problem.

Closed Problem: Look into a possible divot or residual magnetism under where the ball drops for the gumball (ball rides the rail, stops, drops, and then is supposed to roll down the playfield, but it’s not rolling down the playfield).

For right flipper coil added a spring washer and replaced coil sleeve. Coil now doesn’t wiggle when flipped.

Bent the the wire for the left-most trough sensor to better capture the ball.

Closed Problem: Had an issue where the machine seemed to lose count of balls in tue trough, powering it off/on seemed to resolve, but the trough switches should be checked for allignment and the microswitches should be checked for appropriate gap.

Closed Problem: Elastics are pretty dirty. This is a sign that the whole thing needs cleaning. Assuming it was well-cleaned before it was put out on the floor, that suggests there are dirty spots that are hard to reach, like the below-playfield mechanisms. Give the whole thing a good cleaning and see if you can find the mystery sources of dirt. It wouldn't hurt to wipe down the easy-to-reach surfaces in below the playfield and in the cabinet, as some of them are filthy.

Left flipper coil had a lot of wiggle to it, and the sticking seemed to be related. I tightened it vigorously, which helped, but it could perhaps use a spring washer to make it more stable. I’ve ordered some.
