Some lamps do not work after being replaced with new 555 bulbs (multiball arrow, 5 million targets)
Look into a possible divot or residual magnetism under where the ball drops for the gumball (ball rides the rail, stops, drops, and then is supposed to roll down the playfield, but it’s not rolling down the playfield).
Machine needs to be leveled.
In an attempt to address bug #312, oliver and i replaced switch 28. Upon attempting to test the new switch found all of column 2 in the matrix (which had previously working) stuck open.
- double checked polarity of the diode on the replaced switch - OK
- visually inspected the connection of the green-red wire that chains together column 2 in the matrix- connection of green-red to all the switches looked ok
I think the next step is to start looking at pins in the back-box maybe……
Column 2 in the matrix runs to j206
Listed as minor because game is still perfectly playable just doesnt play as expected, but the mount for the metal cage completely cane off under the playfield, may need to go forward with epoxy
Edit: made it unplayable because worried solenoid will break something if actuated
Game will not start, check fuses F114 and F115
Cant locate pinballs on start of game.
Left trough (switch 17) and far left trough (switch 25) are both reading open even though they should be closed.
Also noticed when looking at the switch test that the trough proximity (switch 26) shows closed where i believe its default state should be open sonce powerball isnt at the top of the trough.
Game wont start because ball wont release. There is a faulty switch (one of the trough switches, see attatched. Unsure why not working
Even with new display, there is no output when the machine boots. It just shows “No Signal”.
(A) Is it possible the old plasma display is actually OK?
(B) Worth noting: the boot only happens if you open the door and press the leftmost button
Plasma dot matrix display seems dead. A new one is on order. We discussed, and passed on, an aftermarket color display.
