Even with new display, there is no output when the machine boots. It just shows “No Signal”.
(A) Is it possible the old plasma display is actually OK?
(B) Worth noting: the boot only happens if you open the door and press the leftmost button
Tested the original TZ board on indiana jones and it worked OK. Put original board back in TZ.
I unplugged/ plugged back in the ribbon cables between the power driver and dmd controller board in the process of testing for continuity.
I think just reseating the plugs sorted things out….
Swapped in new display, added missing bolt and washer, tried boot.
