Some switch gets stuck, locking on the score solenoid. That causes it to heat up enough to create a burning smell. Poking at the bumpers fixed it for a bit, but it happened again.

Some of the lights on the back-box appear to be out.
One of the flipper-looking plastic pieces on the playfield is loose and the ball can get stuck.
We should also test that each bumper works when the ball makes contact

Metal deformation in the wheel stopper hole of the score assembly. This causes the machine to hit max score, rather than zero score, on reset.

Spare backbox has this problem even worse.

We had this problem once before and it turned out to be score wheel related but now I am not so sure

Score wheel was overwound and would not always increment. After winding to the standard 3 turns the reset is slow and sticky. This wheel also needs to be removed and cleaned.
