Broken Museum Report

I tried:

  1. cleaning the jones plug next to the indicator disk.

  2. manually manipulating the gear/ latch mechanism in the indicator disk

  3. filing the switches on the tracking control relay.

One of these actions (im guessing 2) caused the 100s scoring to get out of sync. The top rollovers register 300 when the ball enters play instead of 500.

Also, spinning the hands on the clock activates the state tracking control relay, but is no longer activating the score motor.

I suspect manual manipulation of the indicator disk was a mistake.

Relays do not seem to always work in proper order on clock changes after the first ball relay has been triggered. They don’t move. Here is slow motion video of proper movement

Open Problem: Hitting the clock spinning flipper in the center causes motor to spin indefinitely. Does not score. 100 point targets also do not score.

The clock wheel is associated with relays on rollover switches. Only once a rollover switch relay has been triggered does the clock result in infinite score wheel rotation

The video shows it happening when I hit many rollover switches but perhaps just one is guilty

I did not have an issue playing Stock Car today either, all 5 balls went fine. We should tilt the machine to test Josh’s theory.

Open Problem: After first ball of game drains, machine does not initiate the next ball and the cabinet makes a ticking sound
