I tried:

1. cleaning the jones plug next to the indicator disk.

2. manually manipulating the gear/ latch mechanism in the indicator disk

3. filing the switches on the tracking control relay.

One of these actions (im guessing 2) caused the 100s scoring to get out of sync. The top rollovers register 300 when the ball enters play instead of 500.

Also, spinning the hands on the clock activates the state tracking control relay, but is no longer activating the score motor.

I suspect manual manipulation of the indicator disk was a mistake.
