Replaced socketed IC on the CPU board that was suspected of taking out one column. Successful!

Adjusted left sling lower leaf switch, which was always closed

William suggested the logic probe. We also have the privilege of being able to examine a full CPU board diagram from the identical Addams family (no circuit diagram in the Getaway docs).

Pin 16 is the relevant one for switch column 3. The logic probe output on Pin 16 sounds good, and similar to its neighbors. However testing it all the way to jumper J206, we find the corresponding pin 3 input sounds different from all the good ones. This makes it likely that there is a bad component in the resistors / capacitors on the board (R69 or C13).

Note: for using the logic probe, you will find on the power board there is ground at GND and 5 volts at test point TP2

Closed Problem: Switch column 3 out. Left and right slingshots , red-light targets, and high/low gear.
Work

Determined the problem is switch matrix column 3. Green Orange

Continuity to cabinet and playfield ok

This board has evidence of battery acid damage. Someone found it necessary to socket the Toshiba ULN2803A, probably at that time. Our switch column 3 goes to pin 16

Noticed some bulbs were out, so I replaced them and fixed a wonky socket. The self test said the right slingshot switch was out. It was held closed by the new elastic, so I adjusted it. But somehow the whole switch column is now out.

Work

Fixed ooto 1 switch (loose wire) and replaced fuse, restoring Supercharger feature to function
