How-To Video: how to open the front of the game (see attached video)
Jam still happening, usually in the same little tulip catcher. Can someone walk me through specific instructions on how to unjam it (besides just tapping on the front)? Yes I read the previous logs, so I did ensure that there are enough balls in the reservoir. I just need to know how to open the front to unjam it.
Looks like the pachinko machine’s jamming is due to the lack of balls in the reservoir on top of the machine, as long as the reservoir gets filled from the cartons of balls at the bottom, the machine should be working fine.
Looked at jam locations; seems like the same thing from log on Aug 8th mostly. We either need enough balls to keep the lever down (so manually filling it back up occasionally before we get a jam) or to tape them in place or something.
If the lever the balls sit on is not held down by them, we can’t lift up the lever in the photo with my finger enough, payout balls start piling up and jamming in different locations.
Current plan: monitor and try to refill regularly before any jams start (preferably before the top bin empties) to see if the same issue pops up with something else. See red circle in photos to see where the balls are holding down the lever.
This thing gets jammed up all the time. Someone needs to spend time running a lot of balls through it and seeing what isn’t reliable. Ask William to show you what the deal is
Payout was backed up again. Cleaned out the lowest chamber and it started working again
Machine had stopped paying out. Balls were clogged in areas 1 and 2. I cleared area 2 by reaching in from the right with our smaller magnet-on-a-stick. Once the paddle in area 2 was free to move, wiggling things got area 1 to gradually clear on its own.

Had some good realizations today!
Biggest one is that this machine will jam by design if there aren’t enough balls in the jackpot hopper.
For this reason, the game should not be played without a sufficient number of balls in the jackpot hopper.
If this happens and the machine jams, you’ll have to manually unjam the machine. If it isn’t too jammed, you may be able to push the white plunger near the seesaw up and down several times to unclog things.
The other thing that’s important to remember is that the game should be started with the right side of the seesaw in the up position. You can use the plunger to ensure the right side is up.

So:
- fill jackpot hopper
- ensure right side of seesaw is up
