Found the missing screw. It had bounced over to the wall/floor line and gotten wedged there.
Fixed the 10k score stepper. It just needed some cleaning and everything started moving smoothly again.
There was also a solder point that was broken; removing the 10k stepper made that easy to get to, so I fixed it too.
Overall, it seems like it works now. Time to put it back where it belongs.
