Fixed to no longer require a coin.

Plastic tokens can tilt up and get jammed as in photo. This can be cleared by pushing inside the cabinet with an angled stick but the mechanism is quite inaccessible.

Disassembled machine (3 playfield levels), and detached coin mechanism. Flipped back the slug stop and turned the spring sideways. Now it works without a coin.
